A Final Fantasy VII Prequel For The PSP

In’97 Square Enix released Final Fantasy VII, which quickly became one of the most popular titles in the history of the Final Fantasy franchise, and it still is today. The game is so popular that in 2005 Square Enix released a CGI movie titled Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, which was a sequel to the story in the game. While this helped keep the legacy of Final Fantasy VII alive, many fans are still hoping for another Final Fantasy VII game.

Square Enix has not delivered a sequel to FFVII, but a prequel, titled Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. This game is available exclusively on the Play Station Portable, which provides excellent graphics and superior game play for a hand held device. But what if you don’t own a Play Station Portable, is the game worth it to go out and purchase one, is it worth it to even purchase the game itself?

The game itself is excellent. If you are new to the Final Fantasy franchise, or have never played FFVII, you will still enjoy a tremendous gaming experience as you become in the vast world within the game. If you are one of the fans of the original FFVII, and have been waiting for a sequel, this game will not be a disappointment. There are some scenes in particular that will mean more if you understand the implications that the events have on FVII.

The game play is different from the original FVII in that Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is a free form, as opposed to the more traditional RPG format. During the game, you control only one character at a time. The majority of the time you are playing as a new character, Zack, however you do get to interact with all of your favorite characters from the original FVII. The story line in the game leads into the original, so if you are a fan of FVII you know how certain story lines are going to be resolved by the end of the game, but you will still have a great time getting to that point.

This game does have some issues, as most games do. In particular the method of leveling up your character and increasing their limit breaks leaves something to be desired. The process is basically a random draw, and you have no influence over the outcome. In other Final Fantasy titles the leveling up process and the method to learn new abilities was very engaging, and deep, and presented another layer to the game, but this is not the case here. That being said this is still a great game that you should get your hands on the first chance you get.

The two countries most famous for designed paper lanterns are China and Japan. These lanterns are now popularly used as decorative lighting in most countries for illuminating many events.

Chinese ornamental paper lanterns are generally placed on the ground or hung up after lighting them. These decorative lanterns vary in form and design.
